Tier #1: Community
Here we are able to target students who are not necessarily affiliated with a Newark school; we usually get the most diverse audiences at these types of events! From libraries, to FLL events, to baseball games, we expose all kinds of audiences to FIRST and urge them to start their own team or join ours if they are local!

Tier #2: Elementary
We are helping young students develop an early STEM-oriented interest. This year we have initiated Introductory Robotics workshops at one of the elementary school sites (Birch Grove Primary) and are garnering interest for next year's FLL team we are putting together (the first our city will ever have)!

Tier #3: Jr. High
Starts to get middle-school students thinking about potential future careers in Engineering and a pitch for joining Robotics next year in high school. We make sure to showcase our club’s diversity here in order to rid of any stigmas that would prevent certain students from pursuing this field. Due to low funding, we are starting to add 7th and 8th graders onto our highschool FTC team (this will be an ample strategy until we can get a FTC team going at the Junior High). Also, it gets the kids an extra 2 years to do high school level robotics!!

Tier #4: High School
Our most developed tier: here we rigorously train our members to be future leaders in the field of STEM. Students get the most at this level here as they are officially a part of the experience.

|
Tier #5: Corporate
With the support of today’s technological leaders, our program is able to make a larger impact on the community, gain support, spread word of FIRST, and given opportunities to emulate/ learn from these inspiring sponsors! We really appreciate any means of support we are offered -- such as O'Sullivan's transportation aid, which allowed us to visit Treasure Island after our third qualifier in Folsom!

|
Tier #6: National
By partnering with District 17’s congressman Ro Khanna, who shares similar goals with our club, we really do think that we have the power to use FIRST to stimulate positive change everywhere. With this sort of political support, our potential to be leading advocates of technology has no limits! In turn, our school invited the Congressman, alongside Warrior's coach Steve Kerr, to an open mic focused on gun violence.
